Kiekhaefer Park is a great place to visit with your family. There are so many activities for everyone to enjoy, including:
- Skiing and sledding during winter
- Hiking trails and walking paths
- A boat launch on Lake Winnebago attracts visitors over the country.
Aside from all these activities, you can also have some alone time here. If you want some alone time, there are plenty of opportunities. Walking paths and trails allow you to enjoy nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
In addition, the stunning appearance of standing at the top of the tower is an attraction for any tourist.

Try The Children’s Museum Of Fond Du Lac
If you’re looking for something to do with your kids, consider visiting the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac. This museum offers many fun activities, including a space where children can learn about science and history.
They can also play with toys or create their art at an activity table. With so much going on, it’s easy to have a great time together.
One great attribute of this museum is that you do not need any reservations to get your kids to enjoy some fun while also learning. This museum is usually open from Wednesdays to Saturdays.

Visit Thelma Sadoff Center For Arts
Thelma Sadoff Center For Arts is a great place to visit if you’re looking for something fun to do in Fond du Lac.
This art center offers art exhibitions, classes, workshops, and free Friday Night Art Walks. Thelma Sadoff Center For Arts is a place for everyone who enjoys music, arts, films, and art exhibition.
They also offer a hall for social gatherings, and this place is open to both kids and adults. This center is open every day of the week except for Sundays.

Fond Du Lac’s Wild Goose State Park Trails
Available year-round, the trails at Fond du Lac State Park are open from dawn to dusk and offer a great way to get some exercise while enjoying nature. The Wild Goose State park has everything from hiking to biking trails.
In addition, the park has 34 miles of rail trails open for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing during winter. And you can also find over 200 bird species around this park.

Explore Fairgrounds Aquatic Center And Parks
The Fairgrounds Aquatic Center is the perfect place for water fun. This facility has a water slide, lazy river, lap pool, and children’s pool. Pets are allowed in all areas of the aquatic center, with exceptions during special events.
This park is open from 12 pm to 8 pm every day. Aside from the water fun, you will enjoy, this park also has sandy and grassy areas. You can bring your family and friends to enjoy a day at the park. You can also take advantage of the picnic areas, barbecues, and playgrounds.

Learn About Fond Du Lac’s Historical Society At The Galloway House And Village
The Fond du Lac County Historical Society is a great place to learn about the city’s history and heritage. The society has a museum, a park, and a gift shop. It also has a library with a genealogy department and a research department that contains thousands of documents.
The Archives Department holds over 100 years’ worth of historical newspapers, books, photographs, and other memorabilia while acquiring more records from its members each year.
The Galloway House and Village is a great place to learn about the city’s history and its people. They are usually open between Wednesdays to Fridays from 11 am to 4 pm.
